PADI NITROX Course - Sunday 13th August One of PADI's most popular and brightest courses brought right up-to-date covering all the aspects of enriched air diving (Nitrox). Nitrox (Enriched Air) simply has an elevated oxygen content. This reduces the nitrogen in your breathing air, giving you longer dive times, shorter surface intervals, less fatigue and more diving. It is becoming the choice of recreational divers worldwide and particularly valuable on diving holidays and almost a standard on live-a-boards. For example, if you dive to 15 metres/50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time - an increase of 140 minutes Including all study materials Experienced Instructor The course will be conducted by our PADI Master Instructor, who has also qualified as a BS-AC Advanced Instructor, IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor, SAA and CMAS 3* Instructor, plus ITDA and DSAT Nitrox/Tri-mix Blender Instructor - so you will be in safe hands. Study in the comfort of your own home The course assumes no previous knowledge and takes you through from basic fundamentals, dive planning and equipment up to gas analysis and handling. You will need to collect the study pack prior to the course and complete the knowledge reviews in the home study manual. Prerequisites Minimum age is 15, you will also need an entry level scuba diving qualification (BS-AC Ocean Diver, PADI Open Water Diver etc..) As a qualified scuba diver, you are credited with basic diving ability which the new course outline recognises, therefore there is no requirement for open water dives. Cost The cost of the course for Club members is £50, and non club members £75. Remember all course materials and certification are included. The course pack alone retails at £31.20.
