Underwater Hockey
We welcome people of all ages and sexes
who simply want to keep fit and have a bit of fun.
Octopush is underwater hockey played using mask,
fins and snorkel. You whap a thingy with a whatsit to
try and score a goal. It is as fast as you can manage
and as competitive as you like. Why not come and
watch. Better still, why not come and have a go.
We meet at Queens Park on most* Saturday evenings at
7pm, pool side for 7:30 to 8:30. New players
are welcome and equipment may be loaned
free of charged. Why not bring your SCUBA
kit down and watch from the deep end.
SCUBA equipment can also be hired.
Players, poolside and underwater spectators must be members of the Scuba Club. Non members may view from the balcony. We are hoping to start a team at Nottingham - Beechdale. If you are interested contact either Stuart or Mike at the Divemaster Adventure Centres 0115 929 0707.
Snorkeling Lessons
Bring the kids down to the pool and
practice snorkeling together, or just
have a float about. Dive chat as
usual in the Sports Bar afterwards.
